Live United Campaign

Since 1998 I have been a very fequent photographer for United Way and have produced many ad campaigns for Live United and their NFL partners, Play60. In 2014 we traveled 12,000 miles by SUV to film pro foootball players and various children around the United States. Here, Seattle Seahawk's Super Bowl champion Russell Wilson, plays tug-of-war.

Desmond Richardson is an American dancer, co-founder and co-artistic director of Complexions Contemporary Ballet. As an ambassador for Live United, and has performed modern dance pieces to various audiences.

The Live United Bridgewalk is a huge event. Thousands of concerned New Yorkers meet in City Hall Park, listen to dignitaries from numerous city agencies and then march en masse across the historic Brooklyn Bridge.

Read NYC is another program designed to encourage literacy and increase library memberships. United Way donates thousands of school bags and supplies to needy school districts throughout the country.

Matthew Slater of the New England Patriots is running a group of young volunteers through a typical obsticle course. Play60 advocates children getting at least 60 minutes of exercise per day to promote healthy lifestyles and physical fitness.

Skanska is a huge corporate partner working with United Way to build much needed infrastructures throughout The United States. Volunteers workers often assist with school paintings, murals, community garden planting, and soup kitchens.
